Back to Home

I established this organization in memory of my Welsh Corgi, Dollie. She passed away the first of March, 2009 after giving me seventeen loving and loyal years. I want to help provide a solution to the senseless epidemic of homeless animals. I will provide temporary care for these homeless pets until placing then in an appropriate home that will permanently meet their needs.

I have had opponents that have not supported my passion to help homeless animals because of the economic situation that our community, state and country are presently in. I argued with my opponents that this is the perfect time because so many pets are being left behind with the downturn of the housing market. I am providing an alternative solution that will not leave pets abandoned.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
This is an enormous task that I am willing to take on, but I am only one person and I cannot provide all the necessary care for these homeless pets. I am going to need volunteers who are willing to help socialize these pets for adoption. This will involve people taking these pets home for socialization, daily walks, and being foster parents until permanent parents are found. I am requesting that all volunteers bring by a resume with references to Happy Tails Rescue or call 704-876-4774 for more information.
